From the second we arrived at Henham Barns in Suffolk we knew Holly & Abby weren’t here to play it safe. They’d turned the place into a full-blown riot of colour, disco energy and pure, unapologetic pride.
We’re talking hot pink, electric orange, and silver disco balls catching the sunlight. Everywhere you looked, it felt alive.
But this wedding wasn’t just loud in style. It was loud in heart.

The colours of the Lesbian Pride flag weren’t just in the streamers, the wardrobe, or the bouquets - they were intrinsically woven through the energy of the day.
This wasn’t just a wedding, it was a declaration. Of joy. Of strength. Of two people showing up as they are, and making damn sure everyone else felt free to do the same.
No performance. No pretence. Just a day full of emotion, connection and community that hit you the second you stepped into the room.
The Creative Team Behind This Colour-Drenched Suffolk Wedding
From the details to the big moments, everything felt intentional. Holly wore a square-necked dress by Vagabond Bridal, with soft sheer sleeves and a line of delicate buttons down the back - modern, romantic, and completely her. Abby wore a bespoke tailored King & Allen suit that fit like a dream.
The florals by Wallflower Freelance Florist were a total knockout - vibrant, punchy, and full of character. A statement bouquet of hot pinks, orange and soft lilacs brought the whole colour story to life.
The styling and set-up by Smoke & Wildwood tied everything together - from the tassels and colour-drenched details to the flow of the space. Everything felt intentional but never overdone - just relaxed, fun, and full of meaning.

““Where to start… we came across Twigs on Instagram and immediately felt like they captured the vibe of what our wedding would be. We met with both Suz and Paul and immediately felt at ease. On the day Paul was able to blend into the background whilst also making sure he captured all of the magic. We both felt like Paul was part of the day rather than being told where to be and what to do. As a queer couple, Paul was not only a hype man but an ally and a joy to be around.””
That’s what it’s all about for us, capturing the feeling of the day without getting in the way of it. Showing up, tuning in, and making sure you feel completely comfortable being yourselves.
And as Holly said, being an ally isn’t a side note. It’s the bare minimum. It matters, and we’re always intentional about creating a space where everyone feels seen, respected and celebrated.
